Global Leader Announces Plans for Growth

Cambridge, ON- Effective immediately Dimplex North America Limited and Cadet Manufacturing Company have officially joined under the shared name and identity of Glen Dimplex Americas. Glen Dimplex Group headquartered in Dublin Ireland acquired Vancouver, Washington based Cadet Manufacturing in 2016 in a move to broaden its manufacturing capabilities and bolster its electric heat offering in the Americas.

“The formation of one organization focused on the Americas enables us to deliver on the best the market has to offer our customers.” says Glen Dimplex America’s Chief Executive Robert Bartucci. “Dimplex and Cadet are well positioned to compliment and support one another as brands, together they deliver tremendous value for customers challenged by the ever-changing consumer.” he adds.

Glen Dimplex Americas will focus on strengthening all customer relationships by leveraging global and domestic partnerships with an eye toward expanding its current product portfolio through both innovation and the addition of new brands. “We are actively looking at brands in the market and evaluating them against where we see the greatest growth potential for our customers.” says Bartucci.

“Customers can expect the Dimplex brand to continue to focus on innovation, inspired design and energy efficiency. While the Cadet brand invites warmth and dependability at value customers appreciate.” Explains Vice President of Marketing Shelley Delfino. The new organization’s brand identity shares common design elements as that of its Irish parent; Glen Dimpex Group. “The Dara knot emblem in our name is symbolic of an oak tree.” says Bartucci. “The oak tree has been long known as the tree of life with an impressive root system, strong branches and leaves that reach great heights.” “It’s symbolic of who we are and where we are headed as an organization.” he adds.

The Americas is a key growth opportunity for Glen Dimplex globally, and until recently the Cadet brand has focused mainly on the US market. The newly formed organization intends to introduce Cadet into the Canadian market this spring.
