Faber enters the Americas…so much to tell!

Cambridge, ON –In a strategic move to expand beyond the electric fireplace category, Glen Dimplex Americas officially launched the Faber brand to thousands of attendees during the 2019 HPBExpo (Hearth Patio and BBQ Expo). Keeping with its European established branding, the Americas team began to tell the brand story of Faber by featuring the MatriX and e-MatriX, along with outdoor fires; Buzz and Mood during the event.

The announcement was not a complete surprise to some, as the e-MatriX continues to grab attention since its debut at the expo in 2018; however, the announcement of Glen Dimplex Americas’ entry in to gas is a game changer.

“Our people, our products, our brand has always been synonymous with electric and recognized as Dimplex to the Hearth Industry,” says Jane Bradley Director, Marketing & Communications. “Although the Dimplex brand is still very much relevant, it was purposely overshadowed (at the Expo) as a means to communicate our full portfolio of product brands to date.”

Founded in the Netherlands by Jan Gerrits Faber in 1844, the Faber brand has a long history of creating stoves and fireplaces. “The introduction of Faber lends itself to new opportunities which have otherwise not been within our reach,” says Brian Mills, VP of Sales & Marketing.

The e-MatriX Fires by Faber is now available to dealers for arrival in July while the gas offering will have future updates on the full line and availability in the coming months.
